I think I just killed my printer or sth. Printing out all the Animal Farm allegories. Woo. Stalinist Russia is an interesting topic if you compare the protagonists to a buncha pigs :D Snowball (Trotsky) : Oink, so Old Major (Lenin) loves me, oink. So I'll lead Animal Farm, since I led the Battle of the Cowshed (October Revolution) and I suggest all other farms follow Animalism! (World Reform) Napolean (Stalin): Oink. Snowball : Dimwit. Napolean : Oh yeah? Dogs! (NKVD) Snowball : No, no, nononononononononooooo!!! *Dogs drag him away* (Poor guy gets exiled to Mexico) Napolean : Oh yeah! I'm supreme leader now!!! Next, he goes on to force the hens to give up their eggs (collectivisation), but they rather aim them down from the rafters than hand them over (the kulak rebellion), so he kills the lot. He also kills a whole load of other animals for no frigging good reason, just because he thinks they'll kill him (the paranoid guy starts his Purges) More harm? More good? I'll answer that in the Papers, wheeee! “It struck me that if only such animals became aware of their strength we would have no power over them, and that men exploit animals” -George Orwell, on his inspiration for the novel "Animal Farm" Lala, just being random:) Thanks, Ms Faith. Really. =) |
